Donations at Fatvia

Community-driven support for a safer, stronger airsoft scene.

At Fatvia, our mission is to make airsoft more accessible, fair, and inclusive – while keeping privacy, safety, and transparency at the heart of everything we do.

One of our future projects is the Community Gear Fund – a way for players and supporters to help new-players join the sport without financial barriers. These donations will go directly into providing gear, event access, and resources to people who would otherwise struggle to take part.

WHY PRIVACY MATTERS HERE

We actively encourage donors to use a first name, a nickname, or a stage name instead of their full legal name. You’re free to use your real name – and in some cases, e.g., legal obligations, delivery confirmation, or refunds, you may have to – we believe anonymity is an important layer of safety online.

HERE IS WHY:

Public donation records can be scraped, monitored, or linked to you by malicious actors.

Large gifts can appeal to scammers or extortion attempts toward you.

Third party sites may leak or sell your personal information  without asking (even accidentally).

By default, we prefer to credit donations with social media usernames or anonymous formats to protect you while still giving credit where it is due.

Our ethical boundaries

Gambling refers to any activity where money, goods, or valuable items are wagered with the chance of winning or losing based on luck or uncertain events.
This includes, but is not limited to:
– Online betting platforms (sports betting, casino games, poker, etc.)
– Physical casinos or betting shops
– Lottery and raffle operations
– Esports gambling or skin-betting sites

Fatvia does not support gambling because it promotes financial risk-taking, addiction, and in some cases, exploitation of vulnerable individuals. We believe in a community built on stability, healthy competition, and skill development — not chance-based profit.

Adult entertainment includes any media, service, or event that is sexual in nature and intended for audiences aged 18+.
This includes:
– Pornographic websites, studios, and distributors
– Adult webcam or streaming platforms
– Adult clubs or events
– Sexual products marketed through explicit branding

We do not accept support from this industry because Fatvia is designed to be a safe and inclusive space for all ages. Sponsorship or branding from adult entertainment would compromise that environment, alienate younger members, and shift the focus away from our mission of promoting safe, skill-based recreation.

For Fatvia, “drug-related industries” includes any company, brand, or representative involved in:
– Alcohol production, distribution, or branding (beer, wine, spirits, etc.)
– Nicotine and tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, vapes, snus, etc.)
– Recreational cannabis or related paraphernalia

While these substances are legal in some places, Fatvia encourages a healthy, focused lifestyle that prioritizes safety, clarity, and performance – both on and off the field. Airsoft demands physical and mental sharpness; substance use can impair both and create unsafe situations.
We aim to keep our community free from any association with intoxication, addiction, or substances that can negatively impact health or decision-making.

RELEVANT INFORMATION

We’re still building this – together.
The donation system is not currently live.

Before we switch it on, we want to hear your feedback on how to make it as open, fair, and secure as can be. If you’ve got ideas or questions, have a say:

Meanwhile
You are still able to take action today by donating directly to reputable charities we support. The links go directly to the charities — Fatvia doesn’t handle or process these donations:
